As part of our curriculum we teach the 2nd-year students about SNS and different forms of communication and expression through technology using English. Here is an example of one of our students work.👇

Our society has become more globalized. Speaking English is necessary to live in it.
These days, Japan needs more people who can take charge around the world.
That’s why Riseisha established an English Department in 2020.
At the same time, a building was built for Riseisha’s English Department, The East
Building. This year is the fifth year since it opened. Here’s what the East Building looks like!

1, Location

The East Building is near Juso Station, which is second stop from Osaka station on
the Hankyu Line. It’s a very convenient location! There are two big shopping areas
called Tomi Town and Motoima Road. They are very interesting places. Especially,
the Motoima Road has the variety of shops from old shops to modern ones and we
can also find many Asian restaurants and grocery stores. There is a good mix of
cultures and eras there. It feels nostalgic and fresh at the same time. Just looking around, it’s fun!

2, The first floor

Now, I want to focus on the inside of the building. The East Building has five floors.
As soon as we walk through the entrance, we can find the teachers room on the
right and also find the meeting room after it.

Our day always begins and ends with greetings to the teachers. They welcome us
warmly every time. We also go there when we have questions or want to reserve a
room. It’s a place that’s always open to us. Now let’s move upstairs.
