クレイグです。今年の夏のスコットランド旅行の続きです。

Next, I went on a trip to Dundee to for a quick nostalgia tour around my old university.

次に、ノスタルジック（思い出）に浸るために、私が通っていた大学があるダンディー市という所に行きました。

I went to the student union and checked out the places I used to live when I was a student.

そこのスチューデント・ユニオン（学生委員会・学生の組合）に行って、その後、以前住んでいたアパートもめぐりました。

The student union is a place that is run by students and the university.

スチューデント・ユニオンというのは、学生委員会と大学経営陣が共同運営しているところです。

Most universities in the U.K have them and it’s a great place to hang out and let off steam when need a break from studying.

イギリスの多くの大学にあって、学生のたまり場です。学生は勉強を忘れて、そこで羽を伸ばします。

It’s mostly made of bars, and places you can play pool or things like that.  They also hold events for students there and have a club on the ground floor.

バーやレストラン、そして、ゆっくりできる所もあれば、ビリヤードやゲームができるところもあります。

たまに学生向けのイベントも開催されたり、一階にはクラブもありますよ！

It’s for students so of course you can get things at student prices!

学生の為の建物なので、もちろん学割もあります！

A few things have a changed, but it was nice to go back and remember some old times.

少し変わっていたところももちろんありましたが、だいたいは記憶のままでした。

たくさんの楽しい思いが詰まっているところなので、久しぶりに行けてうれしかったです。
