Situational English – SNS – Blogs ⑥

こんにちは!

ナターリアです!

今回は私が教えてる授業で学生が書いたプロジェクトを紹介していきたいと思います!

2年生のSituation Englishという授業では英語でディスカッションしながら、それぞれのSNSについて学びます。

学生は学んだことを使って、自分のブログを英語で書いたので、ぜひ読んでみてくださいね。

Hello everyone! My name is Kosuke and this is my blog post:

Hello everyone,
I’m going to talk about how to get a higher score on TOEIC.
If you want to work with English in Japan, you should score at least 700 on TOEIC.
If you get 700 on TOEIC, this means that you understand business English.
The average TOEIC score that companies expect their employees and staff (who deal with companies overseas) to have is 690.
Let’s check how to study for TOEIC together, so that you can get 700 on TOEIC and get a better chance of getting a job!
There are 4 points.
1. Build up your vocabulary
You will come across a lot of business vocabulary, so focus on learning new words. It is a good way if you want to improve your score.
2 You need perfect understanding of the 8 parts of speech
Many questions in part 5 and part 6 can be solved if you understand the parts of speech, so if you want to increase your score you should learn those too.
3 Solve a lot of reading comprehension problems
I think that the more you read reading comprehension, the more you can get the hang of solving the problems.
It also speeds up reading and makes time management easier.
4 Dictation
The listening section is practiced through dictation. Dictation is a training method consisted of listening to English sentences and writing them down. Doing this will help you realize which words you have trouble catching and which words you don’t understand. Dictation will also help you improve your listening skills.
Repeat these 4 points and your TOEIC score will improve for sure.
I hope it will help you broaden your career path!
