今回の試合で使う言葉を紹介したいと思います。

“A fresh pair of legs”

選手交代、新しい選手を投入する。（直訳フレッシュな脚）

We use this when we make a substitution or we think we need a new player on the pitch.

交代が必要と感じる時によく使います。

The words we use with this are important.  We often use “to put on” or “need” with this phrase.

一緒に使う言葉がポイントです。To put onかneed を使うことが多いです。

Let’s look at an example.

例文を見てみましょう。

Commentator: “They’re looking a bit tired at the moment. I think they need a fresh pair of legs.”

解説者：「このチームは皆疲れてきたみたいだね。そろそろ交代したほうがいいと思う。」
