Situational English – SNS – Blogs ①

今回は私が教えてる授業で学生が書いたプロジェクトを紹介していきたいと思います!

2年生のSituation Englishという授業では英語でディスカッションしながら、それぞれのSNSについて学びます。

今回はブログの対しての授業を行いました。

Do you go to the gym? Do you do weight training?
Actually, I used to go to the gym for 2 years every day. When I was going to the gym I was looking for a drink that is quick and easy to make and high in protein! That is why I studied about nutrition and came up with one.
Today, I’d like to explain how to make a drink that is good for your health and provides over 40g of protein!
It also helps you grow muscles and lose weight.
By the way this drink is super easy to make so don’t worry!

First let me talk about ingredients.
You need frozen blueberries, 1 orange, orange juice, 2 eggs, honey and a protein powder.
Adding orange is optional, as long as you have some orange juice, but I add both, because I love oranges.
If you can, go for a 100% orange juice and if you’re not a big fan of oranges, you can go for a different fruit.

Blueberries are one of the superfoods and they are a very important ingredient.
Did you know that blueberries can help you prevent different types of diseases?
They are high in vitamin C, vitamin A and vitamin E. In my opinion you can’t get enough of these vitamins only from your meals.
They are good for your health and they are also high in antioxidants.

For eggs, I usually add two.
The purpose is to get more protein and fat.
But don’t add shells, unless you’re Arnold Schwarzenegger. (He used to add eggs with shells)

Last but not least, add protein powder.
I use fruit flavored protein powder. My favorite one is the mix ole flavor. It is very delicious.

If you want to make your drink a bit sweet, use honey as well. By the way, your stomach is going to absorb this drink quickly so it’s better to drink after training.

Now, I’m going to explain how to make this drink.
You need a blender to make it.
Add the ingredients in a blender and mix.
To make it easier to mix, add protein powder last.
Then blend and add honey.

That’s it. Pretty easy, isn’t it? I think this drink will improve your health.
I used to drink it every day when I was doing weight training and it gave me a lot of energy, so I hope you will try it too!
