Having a goal is one of the most important parts of learning anything so that’s why the students make goals for the end of every semester.

何かを学ぶには、目標を作ることが大切なので、各学期の序盤で学生には目標を設定してもらいます。

We put them on the wall in the classroom so everyone knows what their classmates are aiming for.

それぞれの学生が何を目指してるか分かるように、ゴールとなる目標を教室の壁に貼ります。

目標の作成にはSMARTゴールという頭文字から取ったフレームを使用しています。

S – specific （具体的）

M – measurable （測定可能）

A – Achievable （達成可能）

R – Relevant　（関連性）

T – Timely （期限）

This really helps the students to think about where they want to focus each semester.

これは、具体的に何に焦点を当てるかを考え出す方法として役立ちます。
