To knock/hit someone for six
It means to deal a decisive blow to someone.
When a batter in cricket hits the ball straight out without bouncing, they get 6 runs.
It’s like a homerun in baseball. It can also mean you were very surprised.
『～に決定的な打撃を与えるという』意味で、クリケットで打者が境界線を直接越える打球を打つと一挙に6点が与えられること。
野球のホームランよりも難しいらしいです。驚異する・度肝を抜くという意味もあります。
We also use it in everyday conversation!

Did you try that whiskey I bought you? It’s strong, isn’t it?
僕がこの前買ったウィスキー飲みました？強くなかった？
Yeah, it is! I had one drink and it totally knocked me for six! I fell asleep 5 minutes later. Haha.
