Here is another quick update on the 6 Nations Tournament in the UK.
先日紹介したイギリスで行われているシックス・ネイションズというラグビーユニオン大会の最新情報です。
Ireland beat France and Scotland beat Wales!
アイルランドがフランスに勝ちました。そしてなんとスコットランドがウェールズに勝利しました。
Last year the French got the grand slam and they are ranked as the 2nd best team in the world right now.
昨年は、現在世界ランキングで2位を誇るフランスが、すべてのゲームに勝ち抜き見事に優勝しました。
However, Ireland are ranked number 1 and they managed to get a victory against a very good French side.
しかし、今回は今世界で1位とみなされているアイルランドが、粘り強く頑張り昨年の優勝者を負かしました。
Scotland played fantastically against Wales and finally managed to win their first two games in the 6 Nations Tournament for 27 years!
スコットランドも素晴らしいプレイを見せ、最終的に余裕でウェールズに勝ちました。一回戦にも勝利したスコットランドが、これでシックス・ネイションズの大会で最初の２試合を勝利することになり、なんと27年ぶりです！
Great result and Finn Russell, the kicker, was on fire!
素晴らしい結果ですね！特にスコットランドのキッカー、フィン・ラッセル選手が神的な判断力そして正確なキッキングやパスを見せ絶好調でした。
I hope this continues…who knows, maybe we could win it!
