Yesterday we were privileged enough to take part on the centennial celebrations at the school.

昨日履正社学園100周年記念式典に参加させていただきました。

We had a conference at Osaka International convention Center in Osaka and a party afterwards at Rihga Royal Hotel Osaka.

会場は大阪国際会議場、その後リーガロイヤルホテル大阪で祝賀会がありました。

I was so impressed and interested to learn about the school’s history.  I felt very proud to be working for such a prestigious school and motivated to have more success going forward.

履正社の歴史を色々知ることができ感動しました。改めてこんなに栄誉ある学校で働くことが出来嬉しく思いました。これからも精進していきたいと思います。

Throughout the speeches yesterday, a lot of the speakers talked about how adaptability and the power it has to help not only people, but businesses thrive in an ever-changing environment.

演説者の方々のお話を聞いていくなかで、逆境の中において成功する為に必要不可欠なのは、個人レベルではなく会社レベルにおいても【適応性】という事を学びました。

As someone that studied zoology and evolution in my university years, I found it interesting that Darwin should be quoted in a place a million miles from where I studied.

私は大学では動物学を専攻し、進化論について学びました。

私が学んだ場所から何千マイルも離れた場所で、ダーウィンの話を聞いたことを興味深く思いました。

I felt a connection from my past in that moment and it made me smile.

大学時代からずいぶん時間が経ち、場所も国も違うのに、久しぶりにその話を聞き昔の自分とつながった気がして思わず微笑みました。

I absolutely agree with what they said and I hope that this department can be adaptable enough to thrive going forward!

確かに演説者の方々のおっしゃる通りだと思いました！本学科も成功するように上手に適応していきたいと思います。
